Today is World TB Day 2010, highlighting the burden of a disease that we’re determined to help tackle especially as one of the five major challenges we’ve set ourselves and our partners for the next decade is to combat infectious diseases.
We’ve recently featured the threat of latent tuberculosis on the Trust’s website, and in this video Dr Helen McShane talks about the MVA85A vaccine for TB that is in the first stage of trials for its efficacy:
